Our Pre-K program is about having fun while learning the basics and developing social and motor skills. Clinics are run by Mickey Kydes Soccer (MKS) professional coaches with years of experience and plenty of enthusiasm. Each week covers a different age appropriate topic. From dribbling to scrimmaging, there's something for every player to enjoy. Players receive a T-shirt and a love for the game. A parent or guardian (adult) must stay on location during each session.

We are committed to our fall PreK program and are working closely with State and Town on COVID-19 precautions to ensure a safe and fun environment for all. We ask for your patience and flexibility with each re-opening phase and potential adjustments. Please click on the link below to view our safety precautions. WSA SAFETY GUIDELINES for fall 2020

FALL 2020 INFORMATION

BOY & GIRLS: Age 4 or entering Kindergarten in Fall 2021

CLINICS: (4) sessions 60 minutes each for 8 weeks.
Emphasis on fun, basic skill and motor development.
Choose any day(s):
Mon: 1:45 - 2:45 PM
Tues: 1:45 - 2:45 PM
Wed: 2:45 - 3:45 PM (note different time)
Thurs: 1:45 - 2:45 PM

FIELD: Burr Farms Field @ 7 Burr School Road in Westport, CT

DATES: Aug 31st - Oct 26th, 2020

Holidays: 9/7 Labor Day - Clinics on
9/28 Yom Kippur - No clinics
10/12 Columbus Day - Clinics on

COST: $180/per player for 1 session a week
$360/per player for 2 sessions a week
$540/per player for 3 sessions a week
$720/per player for 4 sessions a week

PLAYER ATTIRE: T-shirt (included with tuition) - pick up 8/20

WEEKLY CURRICULUM: PRE-K FLYER

PRE-K REFUND POLICY FALL 2020:
Full refunds will be applied if the full season is canceled.
Partial refunds, minus a $35 admin fee, will be given for player withdrawal up to one week before season begins. Should further COVID-19 interruptions occur during the season, partial refunds, minus a $35 admin fee, will be considered at the Board's
discretion. No refunds for player withdrawal during an active full season.

Parent/Guardian(adult) must stay on location with child during clinic. This is for emergency purposes.
No parent participation on the field is necessary.

PROGRAM DIRECTOR: Coach Kelvin Mutambo

Since 2003, Coach Kelvin has been WSA's beloved inspiration to players of all ages. Kelvin is currently the program director for WSA REC, Tots & PreK programs and also coaches WSA Travel U9 and U10 boys. Born in Zambia, Africa. Kelvin is married with one child. Played soccer for the Zambia National team from 1996 -1999. Played club soccer for Zamsure FC in Zambia from 1994 –1997, and Qatar Sporting Club in Qatar from 1997–1999 and has coached youth soccer for over 20 years. Kelvin is a United States Soccer Federation ‘F’ licensed coach. Coaching in the MKSE and WSA since 2003.
