NEW JERSEYS FOR RECREATION LEAGUE STARTING FALL 2010 SEASON

The WSA’s Fall 2010 Rec. League season kicks off Saturday, September 11, 2010 with a new look for all second grade through high school rec. league teams. After a yearlong pilot and enthusiastic response from second graders, the WSA Board of Directors unanimously voted to adopt new uniforms for all second grade through high school Recreation League teams starting this Fall 2010 season.
*** Second grade through Sixth grade Rec. League players will wear different colored “team-based” jerseys.
***Seventh & Eighth grade Rec. Plus players and all High School League players will upgrade their uniforms with two new WSA/Westport jerseys: 1) navy “blue” home jersey; an 2) white “away” jersey.
These age groups will no longer be wearing the reversible jerseys previously used by the WSA.
***Kindergarten and First grade rec. teams will continue to wear the reversible yellow and white jerseys used in the Rec. League last season.
Team jerseys for grades 2-6 and the new jerseys for grades 7-12 will be available for purchase at Athletic Shoe Factory (ASF) by early September 2010. The WSA will notify you when it is time to visit ASF and purchase your new jerseys.
